Teaching Staff
MISS WILLIAMS studied with Rita and Leo O’Neill in Cincinnati and at the College Conservatory of Music with Tina Granzava. She has appeared with the Cincinnati Civic Ballet, the Cincinnati Summer Opera, a soloist with the Cincinnati Community Ballet Company, plus WLW-TV and other professional appearances throughout the Midwest. In addition, Miss Williams is a member of the Dance Educators of America (DEA), who conduct workshops throughout the United States. Miss Williams also a member of the Overture Awards selection committee.
MISS LINDSEY GALVIN has studied with Michael Jackson’s emmy nominated choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard. She’s just returned from Orlando where she was performing at the Walt Disney World resort in the live stage show “The Festival of the Lion King”. Lindsey has appeared on “Live with Regis and Kelly”, was a featured dancer in Paramount Picture’s “Milk Money”, and on numerous Walt Disney World commercials. Lindsey was also a cast member of the east coast arena tour of “Dragon Tales Live” and has performed as a back up dancer for pop artists Shannon Williams and rap artist Big Tim.
MISS SHANNON KAPP began her training in Cincinnati with Bonnie Williams. She has trained with the Caroline Ballet Theatre, the Augusta Ballet, the Atlanta Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Bulter University Ballet and appeared in The Nutcracker, Giselle, and many original works. Shannon was a member of the first class of dancers at the South Carolina School for the Arts and Humanities, and she also performed in Greenville Theatre productions. Shannon holds a degree from Butler University and her writing has been published and awarded several professional communication awards. She is married with two children and works in development and marketing for Guardian Angels.

AMANDA PLESA comes to us from Orlando, Florida where she is a studio owner and teacher and is currently performing in the live stage show “Tarzan Rocks” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as well as a back up dancer for Trans-Continental recording artist Sean Vanderwilt, who recently opened for the Black Eyed Peas. Amanda has performed in several venues including the opening cast of “Saturday Night Fever” on Broadway as well as in Tokyo, Japan as an aerialist and dancer at Disney’s Tokyo Sea’s resort. She has appeared on several national T.V. shows on MTV, VH1, Rosie O’Donnell and Live with Regis and Kelly. Ms. Lindsey studied under her in Orlando and highly recommends her class. She’s a wonderful teacher and an inspiring person. Everyone can benefit from her visit.
Coming from Phoenix, Arizona, Roman began his career as a hip-hop dancer. As his desire for dance grew, he received his technical training in his hometown and progressed while attending dance conventions and performing locally. As a member of the dance group “Northside Crew,” he competed on “Star Search ‘93” and was the opening act for groups such as Boys to Men and Salt N Pepa. He also performed in “EFX with David Cassidy” at the MGM Grand Hotel, “Splash” at the Rivera and was a member of the Culture Shock Dance Troupe in Las Vegas. Now residing in Los Angeles, Roman has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Celine Dion, Anastacia, Joy Enriquez and the Backstreet Boys. Other television and video credits include Pepsi, Sprite, EL Pollo Loco, Days of Our Lives and Tina Landons Instructional video. He has also choreographed and performed with companies such as Nike, Fubu, Jnco and Redkin.
